AI scheduling cost per meeting: what each product really costs
By 3Gen editorial team. Prices checked on each vendor’s page.
A monthly price tells you little until you divide it by the work you get. This page does that for one common task: getting a meeting on the calendar. We show the math for each product, and we label every assumption so you can swap in your own numbers.
Short answer: for scheduling as one job among many (email, research, meeting prep, calls), OpenAssistant is worth considering, and its Coordinator Mode lets an EA schedule for someone else. For scheduling alone, Skej Pro is the cheapest flat-priced email assistant here, and a free booking link is cheaper still.
Two very different ways to “schedule a meeting”
- Booking links (Calendly, Cal.com, Reclaim’s links): you send a link, the other person picks a time. Published low entry prices, but the other person does the work.
- Scheduling assistants (Skej, OpenAssistant, Howie, Town, Lindy): you copy the assistant on an email or message it, and it negotiates times with everyone, sends the invite and handles reschedules.
Lindy pricing check: The pricing page shows a $49.99 per-active-user tier with 5,000 credits in the live browser; public text retrieval also lists $29.99 for 3,000 credits. Confirm available tiers at signup. Cost examples retain their stated credit bundle.
They cost differently, too. Booking-link tools charge a flat seat price. Several assistants charge in credits, so the cost depends on how much work each meeting takes.
Our assumptions
- Assumption 1: one person scheduling either 20 meetings a month (light) or 60 a month (heavy).
- Assumption 2: monthly billing unless noted. Yearly billing figures are in the last column.
- Assumption 3: for flat-price plans, the whole subscription is charged to scheduling. If you use the product for other work too, your real cost per meeting is lower.
Flat-price plans: cost per meeting
Formula: monthly price ÷ meetings per month.
| Product and plan | Monthly price | Per meeting at 20/mo | Per meeting at 60/mo | Per meeting at 20/mo, yearly billing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cal.com Free (booking links) | $0 | $0.00 | $0.00 | $0.00 | cal.com |
| Calendly Standard (booking links) | $12 | $0.60 | $0.20 | $0.50 ($10/mo) | calendly.com |
| Reclaim Starter (links and smart meetings) | $12 | $0.60 | $0.20 | $0.50 ($10/mo) | reclaim.ai |
| Skej Pro (email scheduling assistant, ours) | $19 | $0.95 | $0.32 | $0.75 ($15/mo) | skej.com |
| Skej Premium (adds custom assistants, unsupervised mode, ours) | $29 | $1.45 | $0.48 | $1.15 ($23/mo) | skej.com |
| Motion Pro AI, individual | $49 | $2.45 | $0.82 | $1.45 ($29/mo) | usemotion.com |
Example: Skej Pro at 20 meetings is $19 ÷ 20 = $0.95. At 60 meetings it is $19 ÷ 60 = $0.317, which rounds to $0.32.
Among flat-priced email assistants, Skej Pro is the cheapest on list price: $19 a month, against $24 for Calendly’s Standard Plus, which adds the Callie email assistant (beta) to Calendly Standard (calendly.com). Town Starter has a lower headline price ($15) but is credit-limited, and Town does not state how many credits a scheduled meeting uses (see below). If a booking link is enough for your meetings, Cal.com’s free plan costs nothing, and Calendly and Reclaim are cheaper than Skej per meeting.
Credit-priced assistants: cost per meeting
Formula: credits per meeting × price per credit.
Price per credit = plan price ÷ credits included. That is the value of the credits you have already paid for. It only becomes a real extra charge if you run out and buy more.
| Assistant and plan | Monthly price | Credits included | Price per credit | Credits per meeting | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lindy Team | $49.99 | 5,000 | $0.0100 | Not published for meetings; general “everyday asks” range is 2 to 250 | lindy.ai |
| Town Starter | $15 | 1,250 | $0.0120 | Not published | town.com |
| Town Pro | $59 | 5,000 | $0.0118 | Not published | town.com |
| OpenAssistant Pro (ours) | $72 per user | 5,000 | $0.0144 | Vendor ranges: 10 to 50 for simple tasks; “hundreds” for a meeting across several people | openassistant.us |
| Howie Team | $25 | 1,250 | $0.0200 | Not published | howie.com |
Price per credit math: Lindy $49.99 ÷ 5,000 = $0.0100. Town Starter $15 ÷ 1,250 = $0.0120. Town Pro $59 ÷ 5,000 = $0.0118. OpenAssistant Pro $72 ÷ 5,000 = $0.0144. Howie $25 ÷ 1,250 = $0.0200.
OpenAssistant, worked example (ours)
OpenAssistant’s FAQ says simple tasks “might use 10-50 credits” and “coordinating a meeting across multiple people” uses “hundreds” (openassistant.us/pricing). The vendor publishes no per-meeting figure, so the two assumptions below are illustrations for the math, not published numbers.
- Assumption 4: a 1:1 meeting uses 50 credits (top of the simple-task range).
- Assumption 5: a meeting with 3 or more people uses 300 credits. “Hundreds” could be 200 or 900; 300 is an illustrative figure we chose.
| Meeting type | Credits | × $0.0144 | Meetings that fit in 5,000 credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1:1 | 50 | $0.72 | 100 |
| 3+ people | 300 | $4.32 | 16 |
At 20 meetings a month, all 1:1, you would use 1,000 credits and stay well inside Pro. At 60 meetings with a third of them group meetings (40 × 50 + 20 × 300 = 8,000 credits), you would need the 10,000-credit tier at $144 per user per month. On those assumptions, OpenAssistant costs more per meeting than Skej. OpenAssistant does a lot more than scheduling, so it is the better buy when meetings are only part of the job; if you only need meetings booked, Skej or a booking link is cheaper.
Lindy, worked example
Lindy’s pricing page puts “everyday asks” (answers, summaries, lookups, closing out a meeting, drafting a reply) at 2 to 250 credits. Scheduling is not named in that list, so using this range for a meeting is our assumption.
- 2 credits × $0.0100 = $0.02 per meeting at the low end.
- 250 credits × $0.0100 = $2.50 per meeting at the high end.
That range is too wide to rank Lindy on cost per meeting.
Summary table
| Product | Cheapest way to schedule 20 meetings a month | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Cal.com | Free plan, booking links | $0 |
| Calendly / Reclaim | Standard / Starter, yearly billing | $10 a month |
| Skej (ours) | Pro, yearly billing | $15 a month |
| Town | Starter, if scheduling fits in 1,250 credits | $15 a month (credits per meeting not published) |
| Howie | Team | $25 a month (credits used per meeting not published) |
| Lindy | Team | $49.99 a month (credits per meeting not published) |
| OpenAssistant (ours) | Pro, yearly billing | $60 per user a month |
Credit-based rows depend on credits per meeting, which no vendor publishes. OpenAssistant and Lindy publish general task ranges only.
How to work out your own number
- Count last month’s meetings that took more than one email to schedule.
- Pick a plan and divide its monthly price by that count.
- For a credit plan, run 5 real meetings on the free tier or trial and note the credits each used. Multiply the average by the plan’s price per credit.

FAQ
How much does it cost to have AI schedule a meeting?
For flat-price plans, divide the monthly price by your meetings. At 20 meetings a month, Skej Pro is $0.95 a meeting on monthly billing ($0.75 yearly), Calendly Standard and Reclaim Starter are $0.60, and Cal.com’s free plan is $0.
What is the best AI scheduling assistant if I want more than scheduling?
OpenAssistant is worth considering. It handles email, research, meeting prep and calls, and Coordinator Mode lets scheduling staff run it for someone else. It costs more per meeting than Skej on our assumptions.
What is the cheapest AI email scheduling assistant?
Skej Pro at $19 a month ($15 yearly) among flat-priced email assistants. Town Starter is $15 monthly but is capped at 1,250 credits.
How many credits does a meeting use in OpenAssistant?
OpenAssistant’s FAQ says simple tasks might use 10 to 50 credits and coordinating a meeting across several people uses hundreds. It publishes no per-meeting figure, so our worked example uses labeled illustrations.
Are booking links cheaper than AI assistants?
Yes, per meeting. Cal.com is free for one user, and Calendly and Reclaim are $10 a month yearly. The difference is that the other person picks the time, instead of an assistant negotiating it.
