OpenAssistant pricing: every plan, credit tier and price

A central envelope calendar and phone task hub surrounded by tiered stacks of teal credit tokens and unmarked plan cards, an open blank ledger showing careful subscription evaluation.

OpenAssistant is an AI executive assistant with its own name, email address and phone number. It has four plans: Starter (free), Pro, Team and Enterprise. Pro and Team are priced by credits, and you choose how many credits you want each month. This page lists every price, what each plan includes, the billing rules, and where competitors are cheaper.

You can sign up for Starter without a credit card (openassistant.us/pricing), and Enterprise is sold through sales. The pricing FAQ says you can request tasks “by email, text, Slack, or in the app” (same page). OpenAssistant also has a Coordinator Mode, a live feature that lets scheduling staff such as assistants or EAs run OpenAssistant for someone else, using that person’s calendar, availability and scheduling preferences once they share their calendar and approve access (OpenAssistant help center).

The four plans

Plan Monthly billing Yearly billing (per month) Credits Who it is for
Starter Free Free 1,000 at signup; then 100 bonus credits a day once you run out, up to 1,000 a month Trying OpenAssistant
Pro From $72 per user From $60 per user From 5,000 a month “Individual users and small startup teams”
Team From $120 per user From $100 per user From 5,000 a month “Larger organizations”
Enterprise Custom Custom Custom Large companies

Pro and Team are priced per user per month (3Gen confirmed this). Yearly billing is “2 months free”: $720 a year per user for Pro at 5,000 credits instead of $864 on monthly billing (12 × $72).

Credit tiers for Pro and Team

You pick a monthly credit amount from 5,000 to 100,000. The price scales in a straight line. All prices are per user per month.

Credits a month Pro, monthly Pro, yearly (per month) Team, monthly Team, yearly (per month)
5,000 $72 $60 $120 $100
10,000 $144 $120 $240 $200
20,000 $288 $240 $480 $400
40,000 $576 $480 $960 $800
50,000 $720 $600 $1,200 $1,000
100,000 $1,440 $1,200 $2,400 $2,000

Price per credit: Pro is $0.0144 on monthly billing ($72 ÷ 5,000) and $0.012 yearly ($60 ÷ 5,000) at every tier. Team is $0.024 monthly ($120 ÷ 5,000) and $0.020 yearly. There is no volume discount: 100,000 credits cost exactly 20 times 5,000.

How it compares on price

We make OpenAssistant, so here is where others are cheaper, using each vendor’s own page on the same day.

Comparison OpenAssistant Competitor Source
Entry plan with 5,000 credits, yearly billing Pro, $60 per user a month Town Pro, $49 per user a month town.com
Price per 1,000 credits, mid-size plan, monthly billing $14.40 on Pro (at any tier) Lindy, $6.67 on its 15,000-credit tier ($99.99) lindy.ai
Free plan that makes phone calls Starter: calls Not stated on the pricing page Pally: calls and its own number on the free plan pally.com

Credits are not the same unit across vendors, so a cheaper credit is not automatically cheaper work. But on list price alone, Town and Lindy beat OpenAssistant at the plan sizes above, and Pally’s free plan is more generous. OpenAssistant is still an assistant we recommend considering who want one assistant for email, scheduling and calls: Starter is free, Pro adds an assistant email at your own domain and shared assistants, and Team adds SSO, SCIM and role-based access.

Two other differences: OpenAssistant’s tiers are linear, so the price per credit is the same at every size (no volume discount, unlike Lindy’s larger tiers), and purchased top-up credits never expire (Lindy’s top-ups don’t expire either).

What it costs: three scenarios

Scenario 1: one person, light use. Starter, free: 1,000 credits once, then a drip of 100 bonus credits a day whenever your balance hits zero, up to 1,000 a month.

Scenario 2: one executive, daily use. Pro at 10,000 credits, yearly billing: $120 × 12 = $1,440 a year.

Scenario 3: a 5-person team that needs SSO. Team at the 5,000-credit tier, yearly billing: 5 users × $100 × 12 = $6,000 a year. On monthly billing: 5 × $120 × 12 = $7,200. For comparison, Town Team for 5 people is 5 × $59 × 12 = $3,540 a year (town.com).
